Innovation is often associated with a product, a new gadget that radically changes how people experience or operate in the world. But how often do we talk about innovation in terms of self transformation and healing? About how innovation requires and challenges us to collaborate and see ourselves differently, to extend trust in ourselves and each other in new ways?
In January 2019 we had a webinar to celebrate with the summer 2018 Innovation LabFund group. In that webinar and over the course of the past seven months, Resonance Innovators shared updates on their work with each other, including the transformative challenges they’ve encountered and and lessons they’re learning through practicing innovation.
In hopes you might find it helpful in your own innovation practice, here are 10 reflections from the 2018 cohort of Resonance Innovators:
MOVE FROM STUCKNESS TO SPACIOUSNESS.
FIGHT UNWORTHINESS THROUGH COMMUNITY.
BRING CULTURAL POTENTIAL TO LIFE THROUGH CONVERSATIONS.
BE FULLY PRESENT WITH THE PROCESS.
RELAX AROUND IMPERFECTION.
THE BEAUTY OF EXPERIMENTING WITH SUPPORT.
SEE THE PROCESS THROUGH.
THE ARC OF INNOVATION IS LONG.
