Workshopping the Worldview is a multi-day gathering in which participants are invited to connect to their radical visions and creativity through relationship, song, art, and storytelling.
The events (in-person or virtual) serve as an entry point for leaders in communities and movements to see their work in relation to a worldview rooted in mutual care and collective thriving. In this experience, we become able to see ourselves in a vision expansive and vivid enough to imagine our descendants in.
A world beyond violence calls for new ways of being.
Workshopping the Worldview invites each of us to make a bold commitment—a commitment to a way of being—in our lives, families, and communities—that is as bold as our hope and vision for what is possible.
We believe that by practicing these ways of being together, we can create systems that are the antithesis of the systems of domination and control we live in today. It is through these commitments that we can take our transformation to scale and bring this world into existence–a world beyond violence; a world rooted in mutual care and dignity, where all beings can thrive. This is the emerging worldview.
Our actions add up to the world we’re building: by transforming what we can in the present, we plant seeds for generations to come.
In the words of Grace Lee Boggs, “It is time for a new dream.” Workshopping the Worldview invites participants to dream—and build—in beloved community.

Resonance’s first Workshopping the Worldview event took place in person with almost 100 participants in 2018. Since then, the Resonance team has hosted a series of regional and national Workshopping the Worldview gatherings with hundreds of participants–virtually through the pandemic, though we look forward to gathering again in person soon.
