Through story, and in community, we will connect to the creative imagination that worldbuilding asks of us. Mending the Arc, 40-day Story Practice is an invitation to commit to a 40-day story practice, drawing on ancient wisdom which suggests that 40 days of consistency can break through old patterns and cultivate a new life-giving practice.
Together, we will commit to a practice of storytelling, connecting to the embodied ancestral memory alive in each of us, as we share stories of our ancestors, conjure stories of our envisioned futures yet-to-become, and infuse this wisdom into our stories of what is alive in the present.
What: Mending the Arc: 40-Day Story Practice is a virtual 40-day practice series; a lightly facilitated space where participants are invited to ground into their creativity and community through storytelling.
This practice is intended to create space individually and collectively to deepen connection to the long arc of seven generations: reaching seven generations into the past, and reaching seven generations into the future, with us in the center, as stewards of the stories we collectively shape. Through this practice, we connect to stories of our ancestors, dip into our radical imaginations as we shape stories of the future, and discover what it all means for our story in the present.
